This morning, we had the pleasure of welcoming South West Women in Construction (SWWIC) to our site at Derriford Hospital, where construction is progressing on the new Dartmoor Building. It was a fantastic opportunity to share insights, celebrate collaboration, and highlight the vital contributions of women shaping the built environment across the region.
Our visitors were joined by representatives from Stride Treglown and Hulley and Kirkwood, who shared their expertise on the design and engineering strategies that are helping bring this complex healthcare project to life. The group explored how an integrated and collaborative approach is enabling us to overcome the design and delivery challenges inherent in constructing modern, future-ready healthcare facilities.
We’re proud to be delivering this landmark scheme on behalf of the University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust, and to be working closely with our trusted supply chain partners. Together, we’re not just building structures—we’re shaping the future of healthcare infrastructure across the South West.
At Nevada, we believe in the power of partnership, innovation, and inclusivity. Today’s visit was a testament to the strength and potential of our industry when diverse perspectives come together with a shared goal: building better, for everyone.
