We had a fantastic day at Teignmouth Community School for National Careers Week, introducing students to the diverse and exciting opportunities within the construction industry.

Through a practical, hands-on workshop, students explored construction design, materials, and real-life project challenges, learning how professionals make decisions that shape the built environment. Working with real building materials and engaging in team problem-solving, they developed essential skills like budgeting, sustainability awareness, and strategic planning—key aspects of modern construction careers.

It was great to see students actively engaging, collaborating, and thinking critically, demonstrating the problem-solving mindset that’s vital in our industry.
